In honor of Veteran's Day, LiveWell wanted to share some of our recent equipment installations that we have completed for our Veterans! LiveWell is very honored and thankful to be a trusted partner of the VA, from installations to servicing the equipment, we are so honored to be chosen to help.
Over the past several months, we have had 3 new installations for mobility equipment that will drastically make life easier for these veterans.
Our first equipment installation was a straight stairlift that had a slide track extension at the bottom. A slide track is a cool feature that is the perfect solution for stairs that end with a hallway or walkway at the bottom. As the chair moves up and off the bottom rail, it folds up and out of the way where it stays tucked away until the chair moves down. At that point, it folds back down and into place for the chair to come all the way down to the floor and the veteran can safely exit the stairlift.

The second equipment installation was a curved stairlift. This veteran had a very difficult staircase with 2 curves. LiveWell designed and installed a stairlift that moves seamlessly through the turns and up to the upper level. This particular veteran had the option to choose his own seat color, and he went with a beautiful sapphire blue seat.
Lastly, LiveWell is in the process of installing a brand-new Vertical Platform Lift that allows the veteran to safely access his home while remaining in his wheelchair or with his walker. This gentleman lives down near the coast and his home is elevated to avoid flooding. Because of this, a ramp would have been too steep or too long. A vertical platform lift was the ideal solution to make entering and exiting his home much easier and safer. Because this project is on-going, we do not have completed photos yet, but we do have installation photos of our team doing what they do best!
Every day our military service members put their lives on the line to protect our country and our freedom.
